Brookwood is such a blessing to our family, families with special needs children and siblings, and to the Houston community. Without Brookwood, Paul, and many like him, would not have a place to work, a sense of purpose, or a community in which to participate.  We are thankful for Yvonne Streit’s vision (created from a need in providing for Vicki), and filling such a void in the Houston area.

Briarwood School provided education, and Brookwood has provided a life community.  Brookwood provides a safe place for Paul to thrive and be in community with others. The encouraging and nurturing staff gives Paul opportunities to develop his full potential.

Paul is famous for painting details such as eyeballs on ceramics, stone casting. “Associating” with others. Prayer warrior. His servant heart for helping others.
