We'd love your support for Brookwood because Brookwood is a blessing to so many families!
This fall is my 40th year to fundraise for the Brookwood Community. I am honored to help with this event because I Believe in Brookwood. Over all these years, I have seen it grow from 12 full time Citizens to 114 plus 126 day program Citizens. Brookwood gives these men and women with special needs a place to call home, and the money raised from I Believe in Brookwood provides them with the opportunity to learn and work, to experience social and spiritual fellowship every day, and to lead fulfilled and productive lives.
Since 1984, Brookwood has significantly impacted the lives of hundreds of adults with disabilities, like my friends and Citizen Celebrities for my team, Angie, Houston and Gayle. Angie recently celebrated her 11th anniversary at Brookwood, and Gayle has been a proud Citizen for over 30 years! Houston is a very new resident and I'm happy to be supporting him this year. All 3 live on campus and work in Ceramics and finishing, helping to create wonderful products like Christmas ornaments and decorative bowls.
I hope you will join me to reach my fundraising goal by making a tax-deductible contribution. Rest assured that more than 97 cents of every dollar goes directly into programs and services such as scholarships, staff salaries, and enterprises that transform the lives of Citizens like Angie, Houston and Gayle.
