Over the past four decades, YOU have been a part of Brookwood’s incredible journey. With your generous support we have been able to transform the lives of adults with special needs, and we are truly grateful for your commitment to our mission.
It's incredible to reflect on how far we've come since the day we opened our doors to those first 10 young people with special needs. Today, 114 Citizens call The Brookwood Community home, and another 136 Citizens participate in our day programs in Brookshire, Richmond, and The Woodlands.
Our Citizens’ lives are filled with genuine purpose and enriched by friendships. Your belief in Brookwood has played an important role in making this all possible.
Brookwood is a place of continuous growth and improvement. From renovating our older homes and upgrading our medical clinic to dedicating the new Munz Community Life Center, our commitment to progress is unwavering. Ensuring meaningful work for 250 citizens, while managing our beautiful 485-acre campus and overseeing our expanding enterprise and retail operations would not be possible without YOU!
This is where the I Believe in Brookwood campaign comes into play. It supports our horticulture and handcrafts enterprises, staff salaries, maintenance, and so much more. Your generous contribution fuels our ability to provide a safe, productive, and thriving community for our Citizens. Remarkably, nearly every dollar raised directly supports our programs and allows us to operate without government funding.
This year our goal is to raise $1,500,000. Your donation to the I Believe in Brookwood campaign means:

- You value interdependence and understand the strength of teamwork.
- You're committed to the belief that everyone can contribute to making the world a better place.
Enclosed with this letter is a brochure that introduces our Citizen Teams. Please return the donor card with your check or credit card information indicating your favorite team or choose the Dream Team which represents the collective spirit of Brookwood.

The I Believe in Brookwood campaign continues until December 31, but your generous gift today will have an immediate impact, allowing us to continue creating wonderful hand-crafted ceramic and stonecast items and growing beautiful poinsettias for the upcoming holiday season.
