JIM MCINGVALE 

For over 30 years Jim McIngvale and Gallery Furniture have supported many worthy local causes. Jim’s strong work ethic and philanthropic efforts have made him a household name in Houston, and he truly cares for and positively impacts the well-being of people in our community. He always steps up to help those in need, like opening his store to those affected by Harvey. Jim and Gallery Furniture gave Harvey victims a place to sleep, fed them, provided supplies and even furniture to thousands in our community. When McIngvale opened the third Gallery Furniture location in 2015, the store provided 8,000 square feet of donated space to the Brookwood Community for a day-program classroom, and allowed Brookwood to open a “store-within-a-store” to sell products created by Brookwood Citizens to benefit our programs.
