Please join me in supporting the Citizens of Brookwood! I am part of team Kelcie because Kelcie has been a special part of my life for many years.  I feel in love with she and her family when she applied to attend the Tuttle School at Briarwood.  It was a big deal for Kelcie's family to become part of Tuttle School in west Houston when they lived in The Woodlands. When Kelcie became a Tuttle School Mustang, her family was all in to support Tuttle School. 

I left Tuttle School while Kelcie was still a student but fortune reunited us again when I came to work at Brookwood.  This time we were no longer student and principal but co-workers at The Brookwood Community.

Kelcie's mom has always dreamed of a Brookwood in The Woodlands not just for Kelcie but so that other Woodlands area adults with special needs would have the opportunity for meaningful work in a safe, healthy and happy environment without the hour drive to Brookshire.  It has been so much fun to work with the Shaw Family and many others to move toward making Brookwood Woodlands a reality.  We are excited to partner with The Woodlands United Methodist Church in 2021 to make the dream of Brookwood Woodlands come true.

Additionally, the bonds between my family and the Shaw family continue to grow as my daughter, Bree, has become a great friends with Kelcie.  The two spend a couple of days each week hanging out together.
